Mary-Kate: Vintage Dresses & Lennon-esque sunglasses

With a winter of black on black, Mary-Kate Olsen is starting to venture out in beautiful coloured summer dresses. At the after-party for her new movie, The Wackness, at The Gramercy Hotel in New York City, Olsen wore a vintage Pucci number toughened up with wrap around bracelets and cocktail rings.
However, at the Late Show with David Letterman, Olsen opted for her signature black look teaming a vintage Halston caftan, studded belt and Christian Louboutin pumps whilst keeping accessories to a minimum.

One accessory which i am in love with are the Marni sunglasses Mary-Kate chose to wear as she entered the Late Show studio.

Small round John Lennon-esque sunglasses are being advocated by the likes of Chanel, Karen Walker, Persol, Pollini, Linda Farrow and Balenciaga are sure to become the sunglass trend.

The Olsen Twins are always at the forefront of new sunglass trends, but Mary-Kate is not a stranger to quirky round shades. At the 2006 Fashion Shows, Mary-Kate drew a lot of attention for her purposely obnoxious vintage Chanel sunglasses. It's about time a different style came into the forefront.

Agyness Deyn having a Fashion Stroke

Not to many models are lucky enough to evolve from covergirl to celebrity but Agyness is well on her way. And why not? She is one of the most sought after models of recent times, singer and dating a singer, Albert Hammond from The Strokes.
However aside from her superb editorials and campaign shoots, Agyness popped on the fashionista's pedistool thanks to her quirky and individually adrogynous style. However of late, the more she tries to stand out, the more i wish she didn't. I normally like a lot of her outfits, but the pinafore with matched up red bag, scarf, socks and converse sneakers isn't one of my favourites outfits but i guess if your famous you can get away with anything right?

Summer MAXI-mized

Last season hemlines were going sky high, but this season shorty gotta get low-low-low. The minis more conservative cousin, the maxi dress is fast becoming the style staple of summer 08 with Nicole Richie paving the way to a more carefree hippy-loving summer.
Designer runways including Etro, Roberto Cavalli, Pucci and Blumarine all contributed to the brightly printed maxi dress trend which are favoured by pregnant mums including Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Ashlee Simpson.

For those of you who are stuck in the middle of winter like me, do like Nicole Richie and pop a warm leather jacket over a maxi dress and layer with boots, tights and a scarf to make it cold weather friendly.

The O.C Double Take

The O.C alumni are always in the spotlight for their passion for individual fashion, but they seemed to be on the same style pages last week.
Both Mischa Barton & Rachel Bilson donned what appeared to be oversized t-shirt dresses paired with dainty belts to cinch in their little waists. Whilst Mischa Barton opted for a more boho look with her Moccasin fringe boots, Rachel Bilson kept the look fresh with summer's essential footwear- Gladiator sandals.
With fringe being a massive trend on all the international catwalks from Balmain to Gucci back to DKNY, Rachel Bilson wasn't letting this trend slip her by. She added fringe details with an oversized black fringe bag. Both Barton & Bilson wore Ray-Ban Clubmaster RB 3016 sunglasses which i posted about a few months back. If you can't let go of your the wayfarer style, then these could be a fresh addition to your sunglasses collection.

Ashley Olsen Up or Down!

While some may think that the Olsen's have appalling taste with many referring to them as trolls and bag ladies, but if your one of them...then this blog ain't for you!! If the Olsens are dressed up or down, I'm still mesmerized by their ability to pull of the simplest outfit with such style.
As a big fan of the Olsen twins style, this outfit was no exception. Ashley Olsen was seen in Greenwich Village last week wearing an outfit that was both sophisticated and very sexy. Ashley wore a sheer grey top, Chloe sunglasses and strappy heels teamed an oversized blazer that ended at the same spot where her skirt ended. Mini skirt that is.
This week Ashley Olsen was seen shopping wearing a simple grey button down cardigan, indigo skinny jeans, an oversized bag and a pair of converse style sneakers. Very dressed down and very appropriate for a busy day of more than just window shopping. She kept it slick with a pulled back bun and a chic pair of Chloe sunglasses which she also wore in Greenwich. The model number is Chloe CL 2145 and they're fast becoming my favourite must-have pair.

These can be purchased on Otticanet if you have a spare $300 to spend on sunglasses.

Ankles bootied up!

With summer here, knee length boots have been replaced with its shorter cousin, ankle boots. From Keira knightley to Sarah Jessica Parker, the ankle bootie has been teamed with short hemlines to lengthen the leg and give off that real 80's vibe. Although many say that shoes that skim the ankle are far from flattering, these celebrities prove that a myth.

Sienna & Kiera on the Edge of Love...

When you have two of England's hottest young actress in one movie, you can be guaranteed that their premiere outfits will be smashing.
Keira Knightley embodies so much class and sophistication for such a young women, and if your wearing classic Chanel you can't look anything but classy. Sienna Miller chose a contemporary design by Jasmine Di Milo. The fringe dress is very appropriate for this season, with designers such as Balmain edging on the trend. She teamed the dress with skinny jeans, fedora and a Balenciaga Lune clutch bag, which brought a very London vibe to her outfit.
At a photo call for the movie, Keira still kept it lady like yet fresh with lace up booties. Sienna dressed very youthful and fun with a striped dress from her own brand Twenty8Twelve, cardigan, booties and clear framed wayfarer sunglasses from the young brand Benjamin eyewear.
Nicole Richie quickly embraced Benjamin Eyewear and has been seen several times of late sporting their large wayfarer model called 'Kayne' which retails for approximately $330, which is a brand really worth checking out.

Geek is Chic

Last season, L.A's brat pack brought back memories of our favourite classic geek Steve Urkel with their big shades and waist lines on the high rise.
Nicole Richie was really got noticed when she rocked out in massive Kidada for Disney Couture vintage sunglasses and high waist Sass & Bide shorts. And when one starlet wears it, the rest follow. Soon Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson all wore the high cut. However, the preference for high waist shorts didn't stick due to it's ability to make you look like your wearing dorky "mum" shorts.
However, this summer they seem to be resurrecting themselves with the help of the same starlets that brought them in as a trend. It's great to see Lindsay Lohan wearing the same Imitation Of Christ high waist denim shorts that she purchased back in early 2006. Whilst she pulls them off quiet well, Mischa Barton has a lot of explaining to do.
Although high waist shorts are fresh for summer, yellow high waist shorts are something you should definitely steer clear of. Mischa Barton does have very alternative style, which can make you want to copy or cringe from time to time but her satin high waisters are definitely cringe worthy. She has worn high waist styles before and didn't pull them off at all, so if she can't learn from her fashion mistakes, maybe we can learn from hers.

Heidi Montag the bag hag

Love her or hate her, in all honesty Hills star Heidi Montag can whip out really cute outfits from time to time. In summer spirit, half of speidi rocked out a easy breezy grey tank, a fresh pair of bright white high waist shorts, blue Hermes Kelly Bag and matching oversized scarf. Her chic outfit was paired with huge Chanel logoed sandals.
Speaking of Chanel, it seems to be Heidi's brand of choice with her several bags, scarfs and shoes. Although she loves Chanel, she seems to love really obvious Chanel. Big logos, metallic logos and multi logos have stacked up in Heidi's wardrobe.
But that's not hard to do, when Chanel's Resort Collection promoted that bigger the logo the better. With dresses, t-shirts, bags, earrings, necklaces and bracelets coated in crystallised, patent and leather logos of grand stature. Big logo or small logo, you can get me a Chanel bag anyday! ;)

You Are My Sunshine...My Only Sunshine

To mark the beginning of summer, celebrities say hello in yellow to sunny days and long nights. Rihanna, Beyonce, Katie Holmes and Denise Richards ditched their winter blacks for statement dresses, coats and jackets in bright banana yellow.

For those who aren't really into showing off their sunny side in a top-to-toe ensemble in festive hues, do as Rachel Bilson, Mary-Kate, Hilary Duff,Victoria Beckham and Fergie by adding a single statement making bag or clutch in yellow.

Rachel Bilson wears Dior Babe Shopping Tote in Yellow
Mary-Kate Olsen wears Dior Babe Clutch & Dior Babe tote both in Yellow
Hilary Duff wears JJ Winters Leather Envelope Clutch in Yellow
Victoria Beckham wears Marc Jacobs dress and studded tote bag in Yellow
Fergie wears oversized patent yellow tote

Tyra the new Oprah

Martha, Oprah, Tyra...really? The New York Times Magazine is claiming that Tyra Banks could be the next big female branded self as she transforms from model to actress to talkshow host...do you agree?

WORST DRESSED OF THE WEEK

I really like Jessica Simpson but that cowboy hat isn't really working for me or Jessica for that matter. Jessica arrived at LAX airport in a full blown cowboy hat, oversized bag and wooden heeled shoes. Jess, I get that your trying to break out into country singing and you want to look the part, but don't lose all your previous pop fans while your at it!

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt...as real as they come

If these two were anymore natural we would be bottling them up and preserving them for our future resource needs. Voted as the Most Annoying Couple in Hollywood, The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt headed on a vacation to Mexico with the paparazzi on speed dial.
They had a ball posing, carrying each other, drinking champagne and sharing awkward kisses. Both Heidi and Spencer changed outfits for the "very natural candid shots" in which Heidi slipped into a skimpy white Ed Hardy bikini. I don't understand why anybody would want to wear a bikini with what looks like a floral bomb explosion positioned right at their asshole. It's so sad because Heidi used to be so cute and BFF's with Lauren and now she's nothing but a plastic fame whore slash Spencer's bitch.

They even had to exploit their 15 minutes of fame by doing a fake photo shoot on Mother's Day. Heidi was seen carrying a Hermes Birkin Bag in the photo shoot but I'm not sure if it's authentic, does anybody know? If Hermes let her have a Birkin Bag, then the world is definitely coming to an end.

But you got to admire this couple because if your going to be D-List you might as well do it the old fashioned way...nice and tacky!

Celebs doing the Stripe Tease

Fashion critics may deem horizontal stripes unflattering, but celebs aren't having a word of it! It seems that stripes are here to stay.
Kate Moss was recently seen at an art exhibition in her usual super rock chick look. She paired her striped t-shirt with a black satin blazer and shiny waxed jeans. As Kate gets older, her style style is becoming more polished, refined rocker perhaps.

Where has this girl been? The adorable AM to PM singer Christina Milian was seen leaving Madeos Restaurant on Friday night in one of the hottest looks. The oversized t-shirt with a bandage mini skirt. The style was seen on both Mary-Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst, but Miss Milian freshened up the look with Chanel strappy shoes and stripes.

Gwyneth Paltrow was all striped out as she asked for directions in Oxfordshire, London yesterday. She teamed her mod stripes with this seasons wide leg jeans and raging red aviators. A lot of people hated Gwyneth's choice of bright red sunglasses but i think they look kind of cool, and in London you can get away with wearing MUCH MUCH more.

Model and Mother of three Heidi Klum was out promoting MacDonald's New Chicken Wrap Range in a smart tailored blazer with stitch detailing, scarlet lips and horizontal stripes. Although i love Heidi and her big mouth, i hate these photos!! Don't promote something you don't eat and make the rest of the world fat while you parade around all hot on the Victoria's Secret runway k??
And I've got proof you ain't be running down to MacDonald's every morning...not an ounce of fat on you in that teeny tiny bikini my dear!

Whitney Port & her Floral Frock

The femininie beauty that is Whitney Port, took a break from filming new episodes of The Hills, to have lunch with a friend earlier in the week. What drew most attention was her flirty floral dress. The bright colour combination is great for summer days, whilst the back of the dress had a structured Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2008 feel to it. She seems a bit uncomfortable in it, as she was pictured constantly trying to stop the dress from riding up her backside.
A lot of people hated the dress, but i think it's kind of sweet...
What do you think...Whitney's dress a hit or miss?

Weighing in on the Wayfarer

The re-launch of the infamous Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses caused quite the frenzy in Tinseltown- with everyone who was anyone, donning a pair. The style which was first popularized by the incomparably elegant Audrey Hepburn in the 50's and then again in the 80's, which saw Ray-Ban's profit margins sky-rocket thanks to Tom Cruise's Risky Business.

Fast forward more than 20 odd years and Ray-ban Wayfarers have still got it going on and this time around Hollywood starlets including Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton had a lot to do with bringing the trend to a much wider, perhaps younger demographic. We mustn't forget the London Ladies Ala Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Juliette Lewis and Kiera Knightley who were the subtle pioneers of the revival.

It's no mystery why the wayfarer keeps coming back on track wit mini-moguls Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen making it look more than covetable with their cross between artsy Parisian and funky L.A style. On a daily basis the twins kept to the Original Large Ray-Ban Wayfarer ORIG.RB 2140 frame of Tortoise Shell and Black.

The popularity saw Ray-Ban introduce the classic cut in unique hues ranging from dark blue, pink, red, blue marine, military green, brown and orange. Paris Hilton tried to rock the daring white and red, but that best be left to the Chloe Sevigny & Ashley Olsen's of the world-minus the trucker cap.

Ashlee Simpson is one celebrity who whole heartily embraced, loved and made love to her Ray-Bans. Here she is in yet another pair of Ray-Bans. Ashlee wears Ray-Ban Wayfarer II RB 2143, with red bridge and black frame which is the updated two-toned frame.

The Oakley brand quickly stepped up its game when it saw Wayfarers rear their iconic eyes, by re-launched their 1st generation Oakley Frogskin Wayfarers. The vintage Wayfarers have seen the likes of hottie Elisha Cuthbert and Hayden Paniettiere standout summer long in their mirrored lenses. The style which was first introduced for men has seen women swoon and Ebayers in a frenzy to get their final bids in on these limited edition sunglasses.

With anything good, imitations are bound to follow, thus Ksubi introduced the Tsubi Milka Wayfarer to their collection. This has been a popular pair in Australian editorials for alternative fashion magazines and made a fan of Lindsay Lohan. But this fantastic pair have not received the recognition they deserve and failed to prove as popular as the hardcore Tsubi Grille design.

Chloe's small but wonderful sunglasses collection brought out a few wayfarer styles. Including Chloe CL 2144 which has been seen on Mandy Moore of late and is top Australian model Catherine McNeil's favourite pair of sunglasses.
Kate Bosworth and Rihanna have also tapped into the wayfarer look by sporting the Chloe Eyewear. Rihanna wears the unique Chloe CL 2124 wayfarer with slit style arms.

Even Chanel have moved away from their timeless styles to introduce a vintage collection which include fantastically quirky sunglasses including bright eyed green wayfarers as seen on Rachel Bilson last week.

If you love the newly introduced vintage wayfarer by Chanel as seen on Beyonce, but isn't in your eyewear-budget price range, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II RB 2143 offers a pair in black with gold top bar and arms which were introduced first and look practically the same at only $150.

Lanvin has come into the mix with the Lanvin Key West sunglasses. After being seen on Ashley Olsen, these sunglasses sold out in an instant online at ShopBop and according to sunglasses guru Flashy Shades, the style has already sold out in Barneys.

Blogger FlashyShades has done a fantastic post on the Top Sunglasses of 2008 (which is worth checking out) and Lanvin Key West tops it of course. I heart these sunglasses, but unfortunately living in Australia, Ebay is my only option to access this particular pair, but unfortunately the pair have been significantly marked up by the very few eBay Sellers who stock them.

According to WhoWhatWearDaily, brightly colored frames are the way to go this summer, and thanks to the likes of Luella, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel and Ray Ban the wayfarer is the pair to do it in. Always on trend Sienna Miller, has been seen in a beautiful turquoise wayfarer by the brand Super. This colour is perfect to set off a summer tan.

Uffie and Klaxon's guitarist Simon Taylor are also huge fans of the Italian made Super brand.

A very underrated brand in western countries is Persol. They make some very nice Italian sunglasses with high quality materials which have a legion of European followers including the Milan and Paris Fashion set.

Lauren Conrad also donned a pair on her reality tv show. She wore their large wayfarer model, Persol 2849 which comes in two sizes. Christina Ricci has been seen in the smaller pair.

Hollywood have followed suit with Mary-Kate Olsen, Orlando Bloom, Ashley Olsen, Matt Damon, Sharon Stone, Hugh Laurie and Elle McPherson becoming fans.

Ray-Ban's Clubmaster RB 3016 sunglasses, which are a metal take on the classic wayfarer have been so popular that they were used to style all the models at this season's Ellery Fashion Show in Australia. From the Jonas Brothers to the stylish Jasmine Sewell, these gold detailed wayfarers are set to be the next biggest Ray-Ban seller.

Many are still in love with they Wayfarer style sunglasses and are not willing to let them go anytime soon, thus the new styles, sizes and shapes that have been interpreted by many designers has brought a breathe of fresh air to the style which many can delve straight into.

All in all, imitations, knock-off and inspired styles may come and go, but at the end of the day, as all things go, nothing beats the original cut. That's why the Paris and Milan Fashion set, including top models Jessica Stam and Natasha Poly alongside Fashion Director Emmanuelle Alt have stuck to the tried and trusted classic black Ray Ban Wayfarer Orig.RB 2140 sunglasses and a stylish move at that.

Cruise by Karl

Checking in & out of hotel rooms, jumping on private jets and nursing a two-year-old are bound to leave bags under those glamorous eyes. Hollywood's leading couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes shielded themselves in style throughout their adventures this week.

While Katie Holmes donned classic Roger Vivier Buckle sunglasses, in both black and gradient brown, Tom Cruise led in the fashion stakes, shielding himself in a yet-to-be-realised pair of Karl Lagerfeld KL610S aviators.

Karl Lagerfeld the designer behind Fendi & Chanel is re-launching his eyewear collection alongside Marchon Eyewear and is bound to have a fair few famous fans.

Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art continued...

Kate Bosworth was one of the very few who chose to wear a shorter dress to the event. She made up for the lack of length with vibrant sequins, block coloured shoes and creative make-up.

I'm always excited to see what Tilda Swinton will rock out in, but i'm not feeling this look. I did like the lace that graced the Prada catwalks, but on Tilda the appeal is some how lost. The Prada lace dress is ok, even though it sits at an awkward length on Swinton, but i like how she always seems to play up her red hair with accessories & make-up that highlight it even more.

Naomi Watts posed on the red carpet in a very red carpet cliche. Long flowing gown, 40's quiff & curl and red lips to compliment the white. She did look very beautiful, but i find it funny how all these celebrities can only associate Star logos with Super Heros hmm...
M&M-Mischa Barton and Margherita Missoni looked like they had fun at the event and also with their outfits. So that deserves credit.

Kate Moss looked FABULOUS! Stella Stella Stella McCartney!! It's never a good idea to wear satin with dozens of flashing lights on you, its going to make you look much larger than you really are, especially when you only gave birth a mere 2 months ago. Love the colour and the matching pumps as well.

Janet Jackson is one of the biggest yo-yo dieters in the world and on this night her figure was good enough to pull of the white Versace dress. I don't care that Donatella Versace has had heaps of plastic surgery because her figure is looking damn HOT! Allegra Versace was modestly dressed in lovely lilac, but it wasn't enough to cover her dainty bones. Her face is looking a lot healthier and more beautiful.

All in all, the Costume Institute Gala brought out the many stylish people, with many looking good, but more effort could have been made to play up the Superheros:Fashion&Fantasy theme, i'm sure the $5000-a-day stylist could have come up with something that is both beautiful, creative and a little risky.

Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York

The Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York was once again a glamorous affair.
I can't help but think how wonderful it would to have Jennifer Lopez as a mum. She seems like the type that loves her loved ones to death and would do anything for her two babies Max & Emme. She's certainly springing back into shape in a flash, she looks like she may even get thinner than her pre-pregnancy weight. They look sooo happy no?

Why am i not surprised Beyonce gown in this style? At least this time she looks as if she can sit and breathe for that matter. The pastel pink is beautiful against her complexion and her hair and make up are so glamorously low key and somewhat unexpected for Beyonce.

Ahhh my girl Katie Holmes! She embodied every little girls fairytale-to grow up and dress like a princess. Only difference is she's already grown up and she's already Hollywood's princess, and this innocently fun outfit looks like a child going through mama's closet and dressing up. I love how the matching red eye shadow made her look luminous rather than drugged up and tired. The clashing blue pumps are perfect.

Rachel Bilson's dress got a lot of negative feedback, because it kind of looks like a Olympic swimming team body suit. I don't mind it too much, it has that Alexander McQueen sleek feel to it, however the bangs in her face is what's really throwing me off, it doesn't really fit with the whole look. Prehaps a swept up slicked look would have flown better in the whole.

Perhaps inspired by wonder women, Christina Ricci's outfit was my favourite of the night. Wasn't she once the cute curvy girl? She seems like she's a dress size smaller at every event.

WOW! How sophisticated does Ashley Olsen look? She's got that mature womanly vibe going on and that smile!! I love the modern cut-out design of Ashley's dress, which contrasts perfectly to Mary-Kate's glitzy vintage glitzy gold number. I love Mr Louboutin's studded oxford shoes too :)

Victoria Beckham lives for this sort of thing. Dressing up, posing and mingling with the best of them. Her white lace dress is extremely sexy and the girls got the body for it. Many thought her make-up was far too severe, but it does work well with her hair and the red lips add colour to an otherwise black and white couple.

Escorted by the likes of Mr Dolce & Mr Gabbana would sure put a smile on your face too. Scarlett Johansson kept to her style of frilly dresses with plenty of cleavage push. I like how she played up the cute factor with the headband and puffy dress as opposed to her usual sex-bomb status, then again an "engaged" women must spare her assets for her one and only leading man. ;)

Rosemount Australian Fashion Week: Kirrily Johnston

Kirrily Johnston was a designer brand that seemed to be moving away from the much favoured new rave & 80's styles that were ever so present on Australian catwalks for the last few seasons.

This season, it seemed Kirrily Johnston washed off all that fluro for an almost Calvin Klein clean palette. Stark white sheets draped over grey Prada-esque thigh high socks. The palettes remained simple with whites, greys and black, which for Australian fashion is unusual, as summer is the embodiment of colour for most of the world, particularly Australians.

Neverthless, a lot of the Kirrily pieces were wearable, such as the fuschia party dress which is sure to sell well. Although the theme started off as with a wonderfully African Nomadic vibe, but then faded away into a confusing mix of disco, 80s and Miami beach life. It's as if she was trying mold a new image whilst still holding onto past expectations, that would cater for all.
Either way, the brands new image hinted at the style of Fashion Designer, Victoria Gazinskaya. The looks she wore throughout the Spring Summer 08 Fashion Shows, particularly that at the Nina Ricci Show, has an uncanny resemblance to the looks sported at the Kirrily Johnston. Gazinskaya an unpronounced muse perhaps?

Rosemount Australia Fashion Week: Zimmerman Runway

As some of you may know, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week has landed once again. As per usual nothing has really got me my heart racing. A lot of designers so far have stuck to the familiar and brought with them lashings of street style as opposed to high style.

I expected nothing more nor nothing less from the Spring/Summer 2008 Zimmerman Collection. It was all about Bikinis, bikinis bikinis. Although Zimmerman apparently make great bikinis, i think it is necessary for a designer to showcase pieces with a bit more substance in order to have the privilege of showcasing their collections on a runway.

However, Zimmerman did come up with little paisley dresses perfect for Australian summer days thus satisfying the desires of their beach bum Paris Hilton wannabes, whilst the beautifully designed wide leg pant brought a more mature city feel to the collection and in the process catering for a wider audience.

When the Sweater & the mini met...

In Australia, it's that awkward time of year. Autumn. No matter how long i stand outside or check the weather broadcasts, i never seem to get it right. The day starts off dark, rainy & windy so i wear a pair of jeans, jacket and a scarf, but by the end of the day the heats got me panting for dear life.
Nevertheless, this look that was sported by a attendee at the Ralph Lauren Fall 2008 Fashion Show, seems like a perfect fit for those in between days. The thick woollen jumper paired with an even thicker scarf plays with the delicate proportions of the mini, which remains sexy in a subtle manner. The look can be worn during the day by simply pairing with flats or keep it all vamped up like models strutting down the Richard Chai Runway with fabulous pair of high heeled ankle boots.

Campaign to Carey: Versace 2061 B

All that promotion for her new album seems to have paid off, with E=MC2 selling 436,000 albums in the first week. Mariah Carey is seen her promoting her album at the George V Hotel in Paris wearing a pink leather bomber jacket & a body hugging dress with visible thong lines and all.
She accessorised with her favourite Butterfly rings, M for Mariah necklace (really Mariah is spelt with an M!? Who would have thought...) and a pair of Versace 2061 B shield style sunglasses. These sunglasses were featured on Kate Moss and Carolyn Murphy in the stunning Versace eyewear campaign and needless to say they both looked smoking!

I think Mariah looks pretty good in them as well even when stacked up against these supermodels.
So who wore the Versace 2061 B sunglasses better? Kate, Carolyn or Mariah?
